FastLane 35H Terms & Conditions

Complete operational terms, eligibility requirements, and service guarantees for our premium fulfillment service.

FastLane Levels (FINAL)

Primary

FastLane 35H — Guaranteed

Service window of 35 hours. Prep is free if the service window is not met.

EXTENDED

FastLane Extended — Guaranteed

Service window of 35 hours plus one (1) additional day. Prep is free if the service window is not met.

Mandatory Requirements

Eligibility

  • Amazon FBA only
  • Up to 40,000 units per shipment
  • Final outbound shipment must be 1–26 pallets (FTL standard)
  • Shipment destination must match the FastLane program eligibility (approved FCs)
  • Amazon FBA API integration with PrepVia is required
  • Shipment must be created prior to warehouse arrival
  • Shipment must be informed to PrepVia at least 3 days before arrival (Pre-Fulfillment)
  • Packing list submitted in advance (carton count, dimensions, weights)

Freight & Scheduling

  • Amazon Freight (FTL) required
  • Freight may be booked:
    • • by PrepVia on the client's behalf, or
    • • directly by the client
  • Freight must be booked before shipment arrival

Shipment Creation

  • Shipment must be created before arrival
  • Packing list required (carton count, dimensions, weights)
  • PrepVia Pallet Simulator used for pre-planning

Arrival & SLA Clock (FINAL)

  • For FastLane guarantees, the official reference status is "Delivered"
  • SLA clock starts immediately after full delivery is completed
  • Time begins when the last pallet or carton touches the floor at PrepVia's warehouse
  • Unloading, organization, and internal handling are included

Shipments delivered after 5:00 PM

Automatically receive +12 hours added to the applicable FastLane window

Merge Rules & Authorization

Client must predefine merge authorization with PrepVia prior to shipment arrival.

If merge is authorized:

  • • Shipments may be consolidated with other clients shipping to the same FC on the same day
  • • Freight cost is allocated per pallet, per client

If merge is not authorized:

  • • Shipment is handled as a dedicated outbound, subject to Amazon Freight availability

Restricted Items

The following items are not permitted under PrepVia FastLane / Express services:

  • Televisions (TVs)
  • Glass-based products
  • Fragile screens or displays
  • Mirrors
  • Items marked as FRAGILE

PrepVia has the right to cancel a shipment if the items delivered at PrepVia do not match the scheduled shipment. Shipments containing restricted items are not eligible for FastLane guarantees.

Cancellation & Liability

PrepVia will attempt Amazon Freight cancellation upon request:

Historical Basis

of historical shipments were routed to fulfillment centers covered by PrepVia FastLane

Transportation Risk & Insurance

  • When PrepVia books Amazon Freight on the client's behalf, the shipment is treated as if booked directly by the client
  • Carrier performance and fulfillment center appointment availability are considered part of PrepVia's operational responsibility under FastLane

PrepVia is not responsible for carrier performance only in cases of:

  • Truck accidents or carrier incidents causing physical damage
  • Natural disasters or force majeure events
  • Major events that fully disrupt transportation infrastructure

Transit risk is governed by Amazon Freight terms and insurance. Additional cargo insurance must be arranged directly with Amazon Freight.

Force Majeure

PrepVia is not responsible for SLA impact caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to:

HurricanesFloodsFiresEarthquakesWildfiresRoad closures caused by natural disasters

Such events must be supported by verifiable public evidence.

Product Condition Handling & Authorization

Client must pre-authorize PrepVia and select handling instructions for:

Extra units
Missing units
Damaged units

PrepVia Responsibilities

PrepVia will:

  • Receive and unload the shipment and confirm Delivered status at the PrepVia warehouse.
  • Start the FastLane service window at the moment full delivery is completed (last pallet/carton touches the floor).
  • Execute inbound processing required for Amazon FBA, including inspection and preparation needed to create the outbound shipment.
  • Create the outbound shipment and coordinate handoff to Amazon Freight under the applicable FastLane service window.
  • Provide shipment status updates and confirmation of outbound booking/scheduling once available.
Prep-Free Guarantee

If the applicable FastLane service window is not met, PrepVia will provide the prep-free guarantee for the affected shipment, according to the applicable FastLane level.

The shipment must then be rescheduled for the next business day, either by the client or by PrepVia, depending on who is managing Amazon Freight. PrepVia will also be responsible for covering any Amazon Freight rescheduling fees associated with that reschedule.

Final Note

FastLane service levels are guaranteed only within defined FastLane service windows and where operational control exists.
