This Privacy Policy explains how PrepVia LLC ("PrepVia", "we", "our", "us") collects, processes, stores, shares, and protects personal data from our customers, partners, and users ("you", "your"). By using our services, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Our services are not directed at individuals under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we discover data collected from minors, we will delete it immediately.
12. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, pixels, and other tracking technologies for functionality, analytics, security, and marketing. You can manage preferences via browser settings or opt-out options provided in accordance with applicable law.
13. PrepVia Sourcing Assistant (Chrome Extension)
The PrepVia Sourcing Assistant is an optional Chrome extension for PrepVia customers. It works only after you connect it to your PrepVia account. Its panel and its lines run only on Amazon.com; on another website it reads a page only when you open the extension's popup there (see below). It never runs on your own Amazon pages (orders, Buy Again, browsing history, lists, cart, account), checkout or sign-in.
What it reads on Amazon product pages: the product ID (ASIN) of the page you are viewing; Amazon's "bought in past month" line; the Best Sellers Rank line (the main rank and category and up to 2 subcategory ranks), in which of Amazon's page layouts it was found, and whether the page has size or color options; the product's rating, its count of ratings and its "Date First Available"; whether the page shows Amazon's Choice and for which search; a deal or a coupon shown on the page; for the offer Amazon features, whether it is Prime, who ships it, its delivery dates and how soon it usually ships; the number of photos and videos, the bullet points, the length of the description and whether it has A+ content; whether the product says "Frequently returned item"; the "Sold by" link of the offer Amazon features (the seller's name and the seller ID in its address), to name that seller in the panel; and whether the page's address is the one Amazon gives a click on a Sponsored ad (only that yes or no). With "Show PrepVia data on search pages and recommendations" on (the default), it also reads the product IDs of the recommended products near your screen, at most 30 per page.
What it reads on other Amazon pages: when you click "Collect ASINs on this page", the product IDs shown on that one page. With "Show PrepVia data on search pages and recommendations" on (the default), the product IDs of the results near your screen on search, browse, Best Sellers and shopping pages (at most 50 per page) and of the products in the carousels between them (at most 30); where the boxes are on screen, to place one line under each; for a result whose line does not fit under it, the address of its image link, only to find that image; and whether Amazon shows each of those products as Sponsored or with a coupon. On the reviews page that the panel's "Recent reviews" link opens, newest first, the dates of the US reviews in the list. It never reads your search words, the text of reviews or your Amazon account.
What it reads on other websites: only where PrepVia offers "Find on Amazon", and only when you open the extension's popup on a product page of another store (for example Walmart or eBay): the product details of that one page, its UPC, EAN or GTIN, name, brand, model, pack size, price and photo, from the page's structured data and its specification table, in that tab's main page only. It reads nothing else on that page, never reads another tab, and never runs on another website without that click.
What it sends to PrepVia: the ASIN of the product page you are viewing (automatically while the panel is open, or only when you click the PrepVia tab if you turn automatic opening off), a sale price you type, and, when you use these features, the product IDs you collect with the type of page, the products you watch, the product cost you add, and your panel layout. A product page opened in a background tab sends nothing until you view it. With "Show PrepVia data on search pages and recommendations" on, the product IDs of the results and recommended products near your screen, to show their sellers, Buy Box and sales rank. When you click "Find on Amazon" in the popup, the product details read from that page (code, name, brand, model, pack size and price; never the page address or the photo), to search Amazon's catalog with your own seller account; PrepVia does not keep them. For a product of your own Amazon seller account (one you have stock of), once a day, what its Amazon product page showed that day (rating and number of ratings, listing date, Amazon's Choice and its search, deal or coupon, Prime, who ships it, shipping and delivery times, photos and video, bullet points, A+ content and description length), kept for your account only, to estimate your own sales. Once a day, the totals of the days already over: how many product pages it read, how many showed no sales rank, in which of Amazon's page layouts the rank was, and how many it found with the reading settings PrepVia sends it (and their version number); these are numbers only (with a random code, new for each report, so a report sent twice is counted once), never a product ID, a page address or the page's words. Turning off "Remember products I view" stops both. Nothing else it reads on Amazon is sent: never the page address, your search words, ranks, review dates, seller names, or Sponsored or coupon marks, and never the ratings or page details of a product that is not yours.
What it keeps in your browser: your connection token, the product costs you type (for your last 300 products), your settings (automatic opening, data on search pages and recommendations, remembering products you view, light or dark colors, minimized panel, last list), and, for the browser session only, the last answers shown (so a product opened again within 10 minutes is not requested again) and the last "Find on Amazon" search of each tab. With "Remember products I view" on (the default), it also keeps, only on this computer: the rank, category and "bought in past month" line of the product pages you open, with what each page shows (rating and number of ratings, listing date, Amazon's Choice, deal or coupon, Prime, who ships it, shipping and delivery times, photos and video, bullet points, A+ content and description length) and the number of sellers the PrepVia panel showed for that product, one row per product per day for up to 120 days, to estimate sales from your own readings; the daily totals of the product pages it read (up to 30 days); the dates of recent reviews (at most 10 per product, up to 120 days); the days each product was shown to you as Sponsored or with a coupon (up to 30 days); and, for the products you sell, the panel's estimates and the forecasts you save, to check them against your sales. These are tied to your PrepVia and Amazon account, deleted first if another account connects in that browser, and never sent to PrepVia or anyone, except the daily row of your own products and the daily totals described above. When the PrepVia web app is open in the same browser, it can ask the extension for the sales estimate of the products on its screen; the extension answers with the estimate only, and the web app shows it there without sending or storing it.
How we use it: only to show you fees, margins, your own sales, offers, eligibility and scores for that product, from your own Amazon seller account connected to PrepVia, to save the products you choose to your PrepVia account, and to show the Amazon listings that may be the product you are looking at in another store. With the search page option on, it also shows the sellers, Buy Box and sales rank of each result and recommendation. The daily totals are used only to keep the extension reading Amazon's pages correctly when Amazon changes them. Amazon data shown in the extension comes from your own Amazon authorization or from the page you are viewing, and is never shown to another PrepVia customer. Data the extension saves to your account follows Section 9 (Data Retention).
What we do not do: we do not sell or transfer extension data to third parties, we do not use it for advertising or for purposes unrelated to the extension, and we do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending. The extension does not send cookies, does not run remote code, never changes your Amazon delivery location (ZIP code), and does not track browsing outside the Amazon.com pages and the one store page described above. Our use of this data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Your control: you can minimize the panel; turn off automatic opening, the search page option or remembering products you view in the extension's popup (turning off remembering products you view also stops the daily row of your own products and the daily totals); delete everything it keeps in your browser with "Clear stored data"; disconnect the extension (which revokes its token); or remove it from chrome://extensions. To ask for deletion of your data, contact us (Section 17).
14. The PrepVia iOS App
The PrepVia app for iPhone and iPad opens the same PrepVia platform covered by this policy, so everything above applies to it. In addition:
Notifications. If you allow notifications, we store your device's push notification token, linked to your account, to send you updates about your shipments and your account. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings. Signing out removes the device from your account, and closed accounts don't receive notifications. Tokens are deleted when your account is deleted.
Camera. The app uses the camera only when you tap a scan or measure button. Barcodes are read on your device, and only the code is sent to PrepVia. Measuring a box or a product with the camera (available to the PrepVia team) uses the device's depth sensor on the device, and only the measured size is sent. We don't store or send photos or video from the camera.
App usage. To improve the app, we record how its features are used (for example, that the app was opened, a notification was opened, a code was scanned or a sign-in was started), linked to your account. These records stay with PrepVia, are never sold or used for advertising, and are kept for up to 12 months.
Error reports and tracking. When something breaks on a screen, the app sends the error message and where it happened to our error-tracking provider (PostHog), to fix the problem; it doesn't send page views or your clicks. The app doesn't load advertising or marketing tags, and it doesn't track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Signing in to Amazon, Shopify and other services. These sign-ins open in your device's browser. A short-lived marker (15 minutes) in that browser brings you back to the app. The provider's own privacy policy applies on its pages.
Deleting your account. You can delete your account in the app at Account > Profile > Delete my account, including before you finish setting up your account. Your login stops working right away, and your personal data is deleted within 30 days. Invoices and payment records are kept, as the law requires.
15. Legal Disclosures
We may disclose personal data when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe it is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or comply with legal obligations.
16. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Updates will be posted with an updated effective date. Material changes will be notified via email or portal alerts.
