35 hours end to end, from check-in at PrepVia to Amazon FBA delivered status, or the prep is free.
For Amazon FBA shipments from the PrepVia warehouse in Miami to eligible fulfillment centers. The clock starts when your delivery is on the floor at PrepVia and stops when Amazon shows the shipment as delivered. If it runs past 35 hours, the prep on that shipment is free. Measured in the PrepVia app, the median from shipment created to carrier pickup is 30.2 hours (verified September 23, 2026).
How it works
Step 1
Register it 3 days ahead
Register the inbound in Send to PrepVia at least 3 days before it arrives, with the packing list: carton count, dimensions and weights. It goes in as one of your Pre-Fulfillment Requests.
Step 2
Create the Amazon shipment early
The Amazon shipment is created before the freight reaches PrepVia, through the Amazon SP-API integration. For FBA, the app checks each item's eligibility and creates your FBA draft from the eligible ones.
Step 3
Book Amazon Freight early
The outbound goes on Amazon Freight (FTL), booked before the shipment arrives, by PrepVia for you or by you.
Step 4
The clock runs to Amazon
It starts at check-in at PrepVia and stops at Amazon FBA delivered status. Follow the receiving in Shipment tracking and each stage of the outbound in Send to Amazon.

What a shipment needs
- Amazon FBA shipments
- Up to 40,000 units per shipment
- A final outbound of 1 to 26 pallets (FTL standard)
- An eligible destination fulfillment center (table above)
- The Amazon connection to the PrepVia app
- The Amazon shipment created before arrival
- PrepVia informed at least 3 days before arrival
- The packing list sent in advance: carton count, dimensions and weights
Set before arrival
- Amazon Freight (FTL), booked before arrival by PrepVia or by you
- Handling for extra, missing and damaged units chosen before arrival
- Not eligible: TVs, glass, mirrors, fragile screens or displays, and items marked FRAGILE
Freight, cancellation and force majeure
- Cancelling Amazon Freight 24 hours or more before pickup: freight fees, if any, are passed through to you. Less than 24 hours: you pay the Amazon Freight charges, including TONU.
- When PrepVia books Amazon Freight for you, the shipment is treated as if you booked it. Transit risk follows Amazon Freight's terms, and extra cargo insurance is arranged with Amazon Freight.
- Force majeure events, such as hurricanes, floods and fires, are excluded, with verifiable public evidence.
