Short answer: PrepVia is built for the three things that decide how fast your inventory goes live and how much work you do to get it there: speed, software and logistics. This post shows the tools and the numbers behind them, with dates, and the two places where PrepVia is weaker. Disclosure: I founded PrepVia, so check everything below instead of taking my word for it.
The criteria come from our guide, How to Choose the Best Amazon FBA Prep Center, which applies the same six criteria to ten prep centers.
The Software: What the PrepVia App Does
Most prep centers run on email threads and spreadsheets. PrepVia runs on its own app and its own Amazon integration, so the work a seller usually does by hand happens in the system.
- Amazon SP-API integration, built in-house. PrepVia built its own integration on Amazon's Selling Partner API. It creates inbound plans, picks placement options, sends box content, books Amazon partnered freight when Amazon offers it, and reads receiving status back from Amazon.
- Shipments without spreadsheets. After a one-time setup, a shipment is created and dispatched through our own Amazon integration, with no FNSKU spreadsheets or manual box counts.
- AI document reading. Upload an invoice or packing slip (PDF or photo); the AI lists SKU, UPC, name and quantity, and you check the list before anything is saved.
- Bulk inbound creation. Create inbounds by SKU or by pack configuration, with a manual option when you need it.
- Shipment tracking. Expected against received for every product, and a warehouse receipt in PDF, in Shipments to PrepVia.
- Pre-Fulfillment Requests. Register the order with your inbound: the channel, the order number, notes and shipping labels. PrepVia processes it once the shipment is received.
- Billing and accounting. Invoices and daily storage charges in the app, and the PrepVia charges you pay by card sent to your QuickBooks.
- Shopify. The PrepVia app is listed on the Shopify App Store for direct-to-consumer orders.
- One account per brand. Agencies and aggregators see each client on its own.
The full feature list is on the PrepVia app page.
The Floor: Equipment and Throughput
- An automated labeling line, with every label scan-verified.
- A multipack line at about 120 packs per minute.
- Peak week on our dock: 18,080 units in 15 shipments, measured in our app and verified on September 23, 2026.
Speed: Guaranteed End to End, and Measured
- Standard prep window: 24 to 36 hours.
- FastLane 35H: 35 hours end to end, from check-in at PrepVia to Amazon FBA delivered status, or the prep is free. The terms are on the SLA guarantee page.
- Median 30.2 hours from shipment created to carrier pickup, measured in our app and verified on September 23, 2026.
Most prep centers quote a prep SLA, where the clock starts when they begin work. FastLane's clock starts when your freight checks in and stops when Amazon marks it delivered, so queue time, shipment creation and transit all sit inside it.
Logistics: Built for Freight Landing in South Florida
- Our dock is at 8507 NW 72nd St, Miami, FL 33166, near PortMiami, Port Everglades and Miami International Airport.
- 5,500 sq ft with 3 dock doors. Containers come in floor-loaded or palletized.
- Freight leaves for Amazon by partnered LTL, FTL or small parcel when Amazon offers it. FastLane 35H: 35 hours end to end, from check-in at PrepVia to Amazon FBA delivered status, or the prep is free.
- Receiving shows in the app: expected against received for each product, and a warehouse receipt in PDF when the shipment closes.
- Florida does not tax prep services, so there is no sales tax on prep.
Where PrepVia Is Weaker
- Pricing is not published. We quote each account on a free 15-minute call.

If those matter more to you than speed and software, another prep center in our comparison may fit you better.
