12. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, pixels, and other tracking technologies for functionality, analytics, security, and marketing. You can manage preferences via browser settings or opt-out options provided in accordance with applicable law.
13. PrepVia Sourcing Assistant (Chrome Extension)
The PrepVia Sourcing Assistant is an optional Chrome extension for PrepVia customers. It works only after you connect it to your PrepVia account, and only on Amazon.com.
What it reads on Amazon: the product ID (ASIN) of the product page you are viewing. When you click "Collect ASINs on this page", the product IDs shown on that one page. It shows, but never sends, Amazon's "bought in past month" line. It does not read other text on the page, your Amazon account, or other websites.
What it sends to PrepVia: the ASIN of the product page you are viewing (automatically while the panel is open, or only when you click the PrepVia tab if you turn automatic opening off), a sale price you type, and, when you use these features, the product IDs you collect with the type of page (search, store, Best Sellers, deals, product), the product cost you add, and your panel layout. A product page opened in a background tab sends nothing until you view it.
What it keeps in your browser: your connection token, the product costs you type (for your last 300 products), your settings (automatic opening, minimized panel, last list) and, for the browser session only, the last answers shown, so a product opened again within 10 minutes is not requested again.
How we use it: only to show you fees, margins, your own sales, offers, eligibility and scores for that product, from your own Amazon seller account connected to PrepVia, and to save the products you choose to your PrepVia account. Amazon data shown in the extension comes from your own Amazon authorization and is never shown to another PrepVia customer. Data the extension saves to your account follows Section 9 (Data Retention).
What we do not do: we do not sell or transfer extension data to third parties, we do not use it for advertising or for purposes unrelated to the extension, and we do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending. The extension does not send cookies, does not run remote code, and does not track browsing outside Amazon.com product pages. Our use of this data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Your control: you can minimize the panel, turn off automatic opening in the extension's popup, disconnect the extension (which revokes its token), or remove it at any time from chrome://extensions. To ask for deletion of your data, contact us (Section 16).
14. Legal Disclosures
We may disclose personal data when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe it is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or comply with legal obligations.
