Reimbursements: units Amazon received short

Reimbursements finds the units Amazon received short of what was sent to it. Every night it compares what PrepVia shipped with Amazon's inventory ledger and reimbursement reports for your account, and it keeps each shortfall as a case with its evidence, so you can claim what Amazon may owe you.

What it shows

  • One case per shortfall

Each case shows the product, the units missing, their value, the shipment and the units Amazon received.

  • How missing units are counted

Missing units are the units actually sent to Amazon minus what Amazon received and found.

  • Evidence in one place

Upload documents, download the evidence as a CSV and keep notes on each case.

  • Your own rules

Set the minimum case value and how far back to look, up to 18 months. Amazon sets its own deadline for each claim.

Questions about Reimbursements

How does Reimbursements count missing units?

Missing units are the units actually sent to Amazon minus what Amazon received and found, from what PrepVia shipped and Amazon's own reports for your account.

Does PrepVia file the claim with Amazon for me?

No. You file the claim with Amazon using the case evidence, and you mark the case as filed in the PrepVia app.

How is the value of a case set?

From what Amazon already paid for that product, or from the unit cost you enter. Never from the sale price.
