How it works

  1. Step 1

    Pick the units to forward

    In Send to Amazon, choose the items and units from your stock at PrepVia. When they do not fill a pallet, they go out as cartons.

  2. Step 2

    Packed and declared to Amazon

    The team packs the cartons, sends the box contents to Amazon through the SP-API and puts an FBA box label on each carton.

  3. Step 3

    Old barcodes covered

    Any other scannable barcode on the outside of a carton is removed, covered with opaque tape or crossed out, as Amazon's packaging requirements ask, so the FBA box label is the one scanned.

Questions about case forwarding

Which carrier takes the cartons to Amazon?

Amazon's partnered carrier, when Amazon offers it for the shipment's placement option. When it does not, the cartons go with a non-partnered carrier.

Can cartons go somewhere other than Amazon?

Yes. Transport Quote in the PrepVia app gives live parcel rates from UPS, FedEx, USPS and DHL, paid online with the label.

What if Amazon receives fewer units than were shipped?

Every night, Reimbursements in the PrepVia app compares what PrepVia shipped with what Amazon received, and keeps each shortfall as a case with its evidence. You file the claim with Amazon and mark the case as filed.
