Services, unbundling and kit rework
Unbundling and reworking kits and bundles
When a kit or bundle stops selling, or a listing changes, PrepVia takes it apart or reworks it, so the units can go back out on their own or in a new bundle.

What the service covers
Unbundling
Kits and bundles taken apart into their units.
Rework
Bundles rebuilt into a new configuration.
Back into prep
The units go back through prep and labeling before they ship.
Returned or rejected kits
Kits returned by Amazon or rejected at PrepVia's own check are opened, and the components are inspected and counted. Good components go back to single-unit inventory or into a rebuilt kit.
Singles need their own barcode
Sold as singles again, each unit goes back under its own listing and Amazon's barcode rules. Since March 31, 2026, resellers use Amazon barcodes even when the product has a manufacturer barcode.
How it works
Step 1
Name the new configuration
Tell the team whether each kit is taken apart into singles or rebuilt, and into what. Kits coming back from Amazon arrive as a removal order to the Miami warehouse.
Step 2
Opened, counted, relabeled
The team opens each kit, inspects and counts the components, and labels the units for the listing they will sell under.
Step 3
Back on your shelf
The units show in your PrepVia inventory again, ready for a Send to Amazon request or an order.
