Etsy orders, packed and shipped from Miami

PrepVia is a 3PL in Miami that handles Etsy order fulfillment from your own stock: each sale is picked, packed as a parcel with your packing slip, and shipped with your label.     Etsy orders ship one parcel at a time from your stock in Miami, the same stock that can feed your Amazon FBA shipments.

    Create each Etsy order in the PrepVia app under Direct to Customer, with Other as the platform and Etsy as the platform name. Add the items by hand, from a spreadsheet or from a document the AI reads, and check the list before saving.

  • Labels bought on Etsy

    Etsy offers shipping labels to sellers in the US, Canada and the UK, from carriers such as USPS, UPS and FedEx. Use the PrepVia warehouse as the ship-from address, download the label as a PDF from the order and upload it in the PrepVia app. PrepVia prints and applies it.

  • The Etsy packing slip

    Etsy prints the packing slip as a PDF from the order, under More actions and then Print, with room for a personal note or a coupon code. Upload it with the label in Shipping Labels & Documents, and it goes in the box.

  • Custom and branded boxes

    Etsy orders can ship in a box sized to your product or printed with your logo, as an add-on.

  • Returns processing

    On Etsy, you and the buyer agree on where a return goes. Give the PrepVia warehouse in Miami as the address: the team grades each item and you decide in the app what happens to it.

How an Etsy sale ships from Miami

  1. Step 1

    Open the sale on Etsy

    Etsy tells you about each sale by email and in its seller app, and the order waits in the New tab of Orders, in Shop Manager. For many orders, the CSV in Settings, Options, Download Data lists each item with its title and your SKU, if you added one.

  2. Step 2

    Create it in the PrepVia app

    In Orders, add the items. Then upload the label and the packing slip in Shipping Labels & Documents. The label can come from Etsy or from the carrier you choose.

  3. Step 3

    Complete it on Etsy

    PrepVia packs and ships the order, and its tracking number shows in the app. If you bought the label on Etsy, the Etsy order is already complete, with tracking. With any other label, complete it in Shop Manager with the carrier and the tracking number.

Questions about Etsy fulfillment at PrepVia

Do Etsy orders reach PrepVia on their own?

No. You create each Etsy order in Orders, in the PrepVia app, by hand, from a spreadsheet or from a document the AI reads, and you upload the label. PrepVia does not change anything in your Etsy shop.

Where do I get the label for an Etsy order?

Etsy offers shipping labels to sellers in the US, Canada and the UK. You buy one from the order in Shop Manager, and it downloads as a PDF. A label from the carrier you choose works too. Either way, you upload it with the order, and PrepVia prints and applies it.

When do I mark the Etsy order complete?

Buying the label on Etsy marks the order complete, with tracking. For USPS, UPS and FedEx labels bought on Etsy, the buyer's notice goes out after the carrier scans the package. With another label, complete the order after PrepVia ships it, when the tracking number shows on the order in the PrepVia app. Etsy recommends a ship date that matches the day the package goes to the carrier.

Why add tracking to an Etsy order?

Etsy requires it to complete an order for US sellers, except in a few cases such as digital downloads and local pickup. On a physical item, valid tracking is also what lets the order count toward Star Seller and qualify for Etsy Purchase Protection.

Does PrepVia set my Etsy ship-by date?

No. Etsy works it out from the processing time in your processing profiles, under Shipping settings in Shop Manager, and the buyer sees it on the receipt. Choose a processing time that leaves room to create the order in the PrepVia app and to pack it in Miami.

What happens to an Etsy return?

Your Etsy return policy says whether you accept returns or exchanges, and within what time frame. For each return, you and the buyer agree on the address, the time frame and who pays the return shipping. Give the PrepVia warehouse as the address, 8507 NW 72nd St, Miami, FL 33166. The item is graded there and waits for your decision in the app.
